Community Christmas Dinner

Tuesday, December 25, 2018 - 13:00

Our Mission is to give everyone a little bit of Christmas.

Holy Trinity Church provides various outreach programs within the community.

Our Hygiene and Food Pantry is an outreach program offered by the church. On the third Thursday of each month, on average, 150 clients come to pick up items they may not have availability to otherwise. There are over one thousand people registered with this Pantry and registrations continue to increase. This outreach program continues through donations from generous supporters. We also provide a hot meal to the clients on this day. Holy Trinity also is a member of the Welland Harvest Kitchen.

Another  program is Hannah’s Handbags. This outreach program provides gently used handbags packed with feminine hygiene products to women housed in various service programs such as Bethlehem House and Women's Place. This is made possible by donations.

This year, Holy Trinity Church is continuing to bring Welland's community together by offering a Community Christmas Dinner on December 25th at 1 pm at 77 Division Street, Welland, Ontario. This function is open to all regardless of circumstance. Registration is essential in order to plan appropriately on how many meals we will need to prepare for. Attendance is being coordinated by John Gardiner at 905-735-8813.

Our menu will be a traditional Christmas dinner, Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables (carrots & peas), stuffing, cranberry sauce,, dessert & coffee, tea & milk for the children.

We are actively seeking sponsorship from our Community. It is our hope that the Welland Business Community can assist us in ensuring that everyone has a little bit of Christmas!

Income Tax receipts will be issued to donors of $100.00 or more.
