Make a Meal Come True this holiday season is our way of giving back to those who need it the most. Last year, the Seaway Mall and the Hope Centre asked customers to buy someone in need a Christmas dinner and we were overwhelmed with the response. This year, we wish to double the amount of meals. To do so, we are asking each of you to help us reach our goal of feeding 500 people. Each meal will cost $10 and people wishing to donate can do so at Seaway’s Customer Service desk.
Soiree store - Seaway Mall Welland - An employee was accidently overpaid when two $50 bills were stuck together. She found it when balancing and did everything she could within her power to contact customer who lives in Toronto. This dedicated employee tracked down the customer's sister in Welland and returned the $50 bill. Incredible honesty on the part of the employee. She deserves recognition!

Joining together the Hope Centre, the Salvation Army, the Open Arms Mission along with Seaway Mall has been the method behind the One CAN-ada campaign running for the month of May. The campaign will focus on food, poverty and raising awareness of real topics facing the Welland community today.
Seaway Mall is delighted to announce the addition of Employment Solutions as an additional service within the Welland Mall. Employment Solutions is a full service career and employment center offering service to all unemployed or under-employed individuals. Their services include: One-on-one career counseling, resume development, employment readiness workshops and skill training certification programs. Employment Solutions also offer employers free job postings and hiring and recruitment services on-site as well as human resource support services.
The Seaway Mall team have been busy preparing for the arrival of the full service Welland Public Library branch. To make room for the new development, the Customer Service Desk at Seaway Mall has been relocated beside the old location across from the Sports Wall of Fame, with a new look and new services being added.

Seaway Mall has an annual Health and Wellness Show which brings local experts to you highlighting the support services and products available in the community.
Christmas is upon us and most people are buying gifts and are excited to surprise their loved ones and see the reaction on Christmas Day. No one knows this better than the Seaway Mall team as we see excited shoppers every day, delighted with their purchases. This year, instead of doing a series of giveaways for Christmas, Seaway Mall decided to work with the Hope Centre and surprise five families who normally would not be able to have a Christmas. Giant FM were approached to be media partners and went above and beyond this task, matching the Seaway Mall donation which meant even more gifts and supplies.
Work has begun to preserve the famous work of artist, Heinz Gaugel which was painted in 1985 at Seaway Mall. Panels have been removed slowly and carefully and are being laid out in the old Target building to devise the full plan of action with local artist group BLX. Mike Belcastro, the President of Seaway Mall made plans to move ahead with the restoration of the mural last year and now work has started prior to the winter snowfalls arriving.
With Christmas fast approaching, it is easy to get caught up in the concept of gift buying and often the reality for some people at Christmas time is not always clear. Seaway Mall was made aware that due to Christmas Day falling on a Sunday in 2016, the normal charitable organizations that provide soup kitchens in the Welland area will not be open. We realized this was not only a tough time for those who cannot afford Christmas dinner but also for those who are lonely and may not have someone to spend Christmas day with.
Seaway Mall announces the start of construction for their latest store Envi to begin. The new jewellery store will host brands such as Calvin Klein, Swarovski and Alex and Ani. "We are very excited to have this new addition to the Seaway Mall bringing a range of popular brands. The development has just begun but we are confident to have Envi open to the public in time for the Christmas shopping season. Seaway Mall has seen a number of additions this year with Alia n' Tanjay, Hart and the Modern Vision Gym joining as new tenants.
Seaway Mall is pleased to announce that Modern Vision Family Fitness Centre is now open and operating at Seaway Mall. The gym opened Thursday, August 11 2016. The official grand opening and ribbon cutting will take place on Thursday, August 18th at 10:00am.
